Parque Nacional Los Glaciares




The Parque Nacional Los Glaciares (Glaciers National Park) has an area of 600,000 hectares.
Its natural beauty offers a vision of panoramas of unique uncommon nuances, the different shades of woods, the ocher of the rocks, and the deep blue of lakes and the target of the eternal snows of its summits.
It was declared a Natural Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO. Within the park are several lakes where glaciers finish. The more important because of its size and beauty is the Perito Moreno Glacier, which presents mass of ice from a height of 60m. The park also lies the beauty of the Andes mountains, especially Mount Fitz Roy, a highly sought after by mountaineers from around the world.
